JACKAHOLICS EAGLES IN LAS VEGAS CONTEST RULES
ROGERS BROADCASTING LIMITED

1. (a) “Contest Period” starts at 12:00 a.m. on Monday, March 1st, 2010, up until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, March 14th, 2010, the “Contest Closing Date”, to enter go to http://www.1031jackfm.com/, and sign up for the free JACKAHOLICS CLUB via link and fully complete the sign up information, redeem 1500 Points and submit by the Contest Closing Date for an entry into the Contest. If you are already and member of the JACKAHOLICS CLUB, log onto your account and redeem 1500 Points for an entry into the Contest. All times are Pacific Standard Times.

No purchase, expenditure or investment is necessary to enter this Contest. To enter this Contest without redeeming 1500 Points, during the Contest Period, please hand print your name, address, day and evening phone numbers, email address, age, Contest name for which you are entering for a chance to win, and a hand written 100 word letter explaining why you would like to see the Eagles in Las Vegas and mail it to 817 Fort Street, Victoria, BC, V8W 1H6. You will receive one (1) entry into the Contest during the entry period for which your request was postmarked and received, to be received by the Contest Closing Date. Limit of one (1) mail-in request per postage stamped envelope per day.

(b) A random draw by a Rogers Broadcasting Limited (“Rogers”) 103.1 JACK fm representative, from all eligible entries received as of the Contest Closing Date, will be made on Monday, March 15th, 2010, at the Rogers office - 817 Fort Street, Victoria, BC, V8W 1H6 at approximately noon. The selected entrant will be contacted by phone or email at the number or email listed on the JACKAHOLICS CLUB sign up entry/mail in entry.
(c) If the selected entrant cannot be reached by Wednesday, March 17th, 2010, or declines the prize, another entrant will be randomly drawn on Thursday, March 18th, 2010 from all remaining entries received.
(d) In the event that a selected entrant incorrectly answers the skill testing question, or fails to return a signed release and acknowledgment form as specified below, another entrant will be randomly drawn on Friday, March 19th, 2010.
(e) You may enter as often as you wish provided you redeem 1500 Points for each entry.  If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this Contest will be the Contest server machine(s).

2. a) Participants will be eligible to win one (1) Grand Prize having an approximate retail value of $2,400 and consisting of economy return airfare for two (2) people departing from Victoria International Airport on April 23rd, 2010 to Las Vegas, Nevada, and returning from Las Vegas, Nevada to the Victoria International Airport on April 25th, 2010, two (2) nights hotel accommodation based upon double occupancy, and two (2) tickets to see the Eagles at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 24th, 2010.

No responsibility is assumed by Rogers for any other factor beyond its reasonable control, or for a cancelled, delayed, or re-scheduled concert for any reason whatsoever. Rogers is not responsible in the event winner and/or guests are refused entry to the concert venue for whatever reason and any unused portion of the prize will be forfeited.

The hotel accommodation excludes any mandatory service or incidental charges.  A valid credit card will be required upon check in.  Winner and his/her guest are responsible for transportation to and from the gateway airport and all other expenses not stated as included herein.

Winner and his/her guest must travel on the same itinerary for both the outbound and inbound flights. No changes to travel dates or passenger names are permitted once a booking has been confirmed.  Prize is governed by laws, regulations, international conventions, WVI’s tariffs and conditions of carriage.  Other restrictions may apply.

The prize is valid for use only for the dates of April 23rd, 2010 through April 25th, 2010, and is subject to all regular conditions and restrictions as set forth by the airline. Rogers may change the trip dates without prior notice. In the event the winner cannot use the prize for whatever reason, the unused part of the prize will be forfeited. 
3. Winner is solely responsible for obtaining their own travel documents such as passport or travel visa in advance of the departure date. Rogers is not responsible in the event winner is refused entry to the United States of America, or re-entry to Canada for whatever reason and any unused portion of the prize will be forfeit.
4. All prizes must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred or exchanged. Rogers reserves the right to substitute a prize of at least equal or greater value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised prize.
5. (a) In order to win, the selected entrant must first correctly answer, unaided, a time limited, mathematical skill testing question, posed by telephone at a mutually convenient time.
(b) Rogers judges' rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the Contest and the awarding of prizes.
6. Selected entrant will be required to return a signed release and acknowledgment form before being declared a winner. The traveling companion must also return a signed release and acknowledgment form before being ticketed, once ticketed no changes are permitted.
7. By entering this Contest, each entrant consents to the use of his/her entry, name, address, voice and/or photograph in any publicity carried out by Rogers, WestJet, and their advertising agencies, without further compensation. Winner consents to their photograph being taken by Rogers for such use, without further compensation. All entries become the property of Rogers.
8. This Contest is open to all residents of southern Vancouver Island (Duncan and south) in B.C. who are 19 years of age or older as of the date of entry, except employees of Rogers, WestJet, and their respective parent and affiliate companies; representatives and agents, the Contest suppliers and those with whom they are domiciled. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
9. No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrant.
10. Chances of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Rogers is unaware of how many entrants there may be. The winner may come from any geographic area, so long as they otherwise qualify to enter the Contest.
11. All entries which are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by Rogers. Rogers takes no responsibility for lost, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors.
12. All entries become property of Rogers who assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for failure of the Internet or Rogers network during the Contest Period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, cell sites, microwave dish, antenna, switch, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any communication or traffic congestion on the Rogers or other network, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's wireless device or personal computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading or sending any material in the Contest. Rogers reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the online or email portion of this Contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of Rogers corrupt the security or proper administration of the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any equipment or system or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Rogers reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
13. Rogers is collecting personal data about entrants for the sole purpose of administering this Contest. No further informational or marketing communications will be received by the entrant unless the entrant provides Rogers with explicit permission to do so. 14. This Contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by Rogers. Entrants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules if they participate in the Contest.
15. The terms of this Contest, as set out in these rules, are not subject to amendment or counter-offer, except as set out herein.
