CRD Eco-Star Awards
Go green and get noticed! Its time for the annual CRD Eco-Star Awards recognizing those that go above and beyond for the planet and the environment! Local businesses, youths, individuals can be nominated for adapting and making positive changes for the climate. The catagories include waste reduction, climate action and community environmental leader to name a few. Voting is from March 8th - April 11th. Craigdarroch Castle
The classic Craigdarroch Castle is one of Victoria's legendary landmarks and has had many faces and facelifts to return it its former glory! See the history of one of the most famous homes in Canada! Open daily from 10am-4:30pm, 7 days a week and this spring break, guided tours at 11am and 2pm! On Sunday March 14th and 21st, kids entertainment included in the price of admission! Inside the JACKAHOLICS Club, win passes for the family and even an annual membership for 4 to Craigdarroch Castle!

Dining Out For Life
in support of those living with HIV/AIDS
103.1 JACK fm is proud to support Dining Out for Life, sponsored by Stella Artois, happening March 25th at participating restaurants all over Vancouver Island... from Tofino to Sooke to The Gulf Islands!
On Thursday, March 25th, restaurant patrons will be able to support AIDS Vancouver Island - a Vancouver Island charity supporting local people living with AIDS - simply by dining out for lunch or dinner!
